The Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran College is a school of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The Lutheran Church, worldwide, is one of the major Christian churches. Our origins go back to the 16th century and a monk, Martin Luther. He studied the Bible and began to realise that its central message is about God’s overwhelming love for us in Christ. The Bible teaches that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by our own efforts to please God. Christ's death on the cross, and His Resurrection mean that we are God's family, loved, forgiven and free to serve in the global community for which Christ gave His life.
