Our outdoor education program is an integral part of our curriculum and provides our students with challenging and engaging activities that teach them valuable life skills.
In Year 6, students travel to Canberra NSW for 5 days to explore the nation's capital and learn more about our government.
In Year 7 students have a three-night cabin-based stay at Camp Goodenough, Bilambil NSW where they engage in a program of games and initiatives.
In Year 8 the travel to Camp Kokoda at Maroon QLD for a three-night tent-based camp. During this time they engage in a range of outdoor activities camping at a new location within the camp property each night.
This is extended in Year 9 when they return to Camp Kokoda and experience a more 'expedition' based camp program where they will hike through sections of Mt Barney National Park and the surrounding area.
The program culminates in Year 10 when they head to Outward Bound, Northern NSW, when they participate in a 6-day expedition program through the regions national parks which may include hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, raft building, and other more challenging initiative activities.
