A very warm welcome back to the 2016 academic year. A special welcome to more than one hundred new students on both campuses and the new staff joining Team Trinity.
2016 promises to be a year full of joy and celebration of milestones and achievements of our students, staff and the college. We are turning 35 years old this year. There's so much that we have achieved in the last 35 years and it's a good time to share our journey and stories with our students so that they know the wonderful history and understand the strengths and values on which Trinity is built. We will have birthday cakes, balloons, hear stories in July to remember our founders and the sacrifice they made in order for us to enjoy the many facilities and resources today.
Over the next couple of weeks, you will hear about the initiatives put in place this year to strengthen the offerings at Trinity so that our students will grow into confident and principled young people who will take risks with their learning so as to expand their horizons.
I look forward to working closely with our P&F auxiliary and its class reps; and the many parents on our various support groups to harness the support of our families to build a strong network of friendship and support amongst our parent body in 2016.
I thank you for your partnership in support of your children's education in 2016 and beyond.
