Firstly, we would like to introduce our new Community Relations Team Leader, Mrs Carole Wilson and Community Relations Administration Officer, Ms Melanie Calzavara. The P&F are supported by and work closely with this fabulous team, so please make sure you introduce yourself to them when you see them around. They can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org
On behalf of the P&F Auxiliary, we would like to extend a warm welcome back to our old families and a special big welcome to our new families joining Trinity for the first time. We were proud to host the Inaugural Welcome Family Picnic on Sunday 6 March at the Cotlew campus. The purpose of this event was to reconnect with our existing families and also to introduce them to our new families. We were so excited to be involved with Trinity’s Messy Church, which is held in the Robert Hoff Community Hall on Sunday mornings at 9am with Pastor Michael Alfson, Johanne & Lisa De Beer and Mrs Carol English. It was great to see so many families attend this service and have fun learning God’s message through the entertaining skit and the parents helping their children with their crafts. We were blessed with fabulous sunny weather and got to indulge in delicious Subway sandwiches and cookies, AND chocolate and banana cake. The kids had great fun playing traditional games on the grass, including a very competitive tug-of-war and the good old sack race made a comeback too. It was a great opportunity for parents to meet informally and catch up, and get to know new families. Wonderful to see so many new faces join in fellowship. WELCOME BACK TO TRINITY!
It is traditional for the P&F to host the Sausage Sizzle on the Election Day as there is a Polling Booth in the Robert Hoff Community Hall for Division 6 and Division 8. This year we are thrilled to support the Year 12 Bake Sale, where the Year 12 cohort and families will be selling yummy baked goods to raise money for the Year 12 Farewell Gift which they will present to the College at the end of the year. Thank you for considering a donation of baked goods or for volunteering your time to assist us run the Sausage Sizzle. It’s always a fun day and wonderful to see so many familiar faces voting on the day and helping to support our fundraisers.
The P&F will be providing a Sausage Sizzle stall at the Primary Easter Service on Wednesday 23 March. We will fire up the barbeque at 2.45pm so all the families can join us in fellowship, free craft activities with Messy Church and LJ Hooker Nerang, or buy a hot drink from CAFE2U. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser and we appreciate any time you can offer us to help run this stall.
Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com
Once again, on behalf of the P&F Auxiliary Committee members, Damon, Shona, Fred, Andrea, Julie, Regan, Suzie and Tanya, I wish you and your families a blessed Easter time with your family and friends.
Mrs Lea Fitzpatrick
