Trinity Lutheran College Performing Arts students were delighted to be invited once again to perform as part of the Blues on Broadbeach festival, on Friday 20 May. Our Big Band, Rock Band and Fusion advanced ensembles wowed audiences with their fantastic performances of many favourite jazz and rock hits.
We were so appreciative of the many members of the Trinity community who were in the audience supporting our performers. Fusion performed their new routine, “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” complete with our very own Trinity Andrews Sisters. Big Band performed brilliantly - their rendition of legendary rock band, Toto and their hit “Africa” was the highlight for Ms. Smith. Our Rock Band were excited to have their very first gig for the year and performed a number of hits including a fabulous performance of “Valerie”.
All performers were proud and excited to represent our college at such an established Gold Coast event and we look forward to our next contemporary ensembles show which will be “Trinity Rocks” held in the Robert Hoff Community Hall on Friday 22 July.
