APS Summer Sport
6 Premierships! Through strong and committed finals day performances, Trinity claimed 6 APS Sport Premierships. Congratulations to the following teams: Open A Boys Tennis; Open A & Open B Girls Tennis; Open Girls Water Polo; Junior Girls Water Polo and 10B Girls Basketball. These results reflect a dedicated approach by all team members and coaching staff. Great work Trinity!
The 2016 sporting year at Trinity Lutheran College can be classified as successful on many fronts; with mass participation, collective and individual triumphs and notable accomplishment across all APS and Non – APS Sports. The College proudly once again competed with pride and purpose within the APS sports system, whilst the culture of excellence and school spirit were routinely on display on and off the sporting field. An extra–curricular program the size of the one at Trinity continues to benefit from the committed and unreserved involvement from internal and external coaching staff. This integral component of our sports program continues to provide the avenue for notable skill development, improved game sense awareness and a strong willingness for students to play sport for their school. As is the norm for any school based sports program, the parent body must be acknowledged for their logistical support and guidance throughout the year. Whether it be driving to early morning training sessions; towing boat trailers; coordinating BBQ’s or coaching our teams – a big thank you to you all.

South Coast Triathlon / Aquathon Team
Congratuaions to the following students who have qualified for the South Coast Triathlon / Aquathon Team to contest the State Championships.
QLD School Sport Swimming Relays
Congratulations to Flynn McGregor (Year 7), Cameron Bradburn (Year 6), Charlie White (Year 7) and Jack Veivers (Year 6) who claimed gold and sliver medals at the recent QLD School Sport Swimming Relay Championships. Representing Trinity at this state event, the boys won the 4 x 50m freestyle relay and placed second in in the 4 x 50m medley relay.
Gold Coast Water Polo Team
The following Trinity Year 7 students have been selected in the Under 14 Gold Coast Water Polo Team to contest the State Championships. Selection in this team represents dedication and considerable skill. Congratulations to Riley Mudge; Bailey French; CJ Dixon; Wills Markham; Charlie White; Jacob Stubbs; Josh Hayes; Murray Foster; Flynn O’Neill; Ethan Berger (Year 8) and Isabella Danaher; Grace Curtin; Katy Markham; Eva Scantlebury; Ella Brownrigg; Hermione Branson and Ella Donaghy.
