← International concert pianist visits Trinity

The Trinity community was thrilled when international guest star and concert pianist, Julian G, visited our college on Tuesday 19th July. Julian's stopover at the Gold Coast was made especially to perform for our Trinity students, staff and families whilst he was en route to perform as the featured guest artist at the Noosa Food and Wine Festival last week.

Combining rigorous Russian conservatory training with an informal style of presenting classical music, Steinway Artist, Julian Gargiulo, has been receiving standing ovations around the world. Whether performing for thousands of people on Singapore’s Symphony Stage or Carnegie Hall or for an eclectic group of fifty in New York, Julian is able to transmit a unique concert experience to each one present. The Trinity audience was in awe as Julian lit up the piano keys with unbelievable performances of piano classics as well as incredible performances of his own compositions. Audience participation during the show kept everyone on the edge of their seats, wondering what would happen next.

Julian also generously gave of his time to run a two-hour master class with the Performing Arts students. During this time, he was able to offer one on one advice to some of our senior instrumentalists whilst also sharing stories of his life, his music and his secrets to success. The Trinity community was thrilled to have the opportunity to witness a true musical genius in action and we look forward to him returning to our shores and our college one day in the future.
