Trinity’s biannual Dancefest on Tuesday 26 July, was a truly spectacular evening presenting many different styles of dance such as jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, tap, lyrical, contemporary and ballet. Over 90 students from Year 6 to 12 in both curricular and co-curricular dance classes performed at the Robert Hoff Community Hall to a packed house.
The colourful show comprised of many duos, trios and group items as well as several brilliant solo assessment items from senior school students. A massed opening number which included the entire cast on stage really got the audience on their feet.
Several Year 12 students contributed to the choreography of the co-curricular groups, producing work of an extremely high standard and showcasing the vast range of choreographic skills and talent that Trinity has in dance.
All performers worked very hard to ensure their dance items were perfectly polished for the show and their dedication certainly paid off as the evening was a celebration of outstanding talent in dance. What a show!
