Trinity Rocks The House Down!

On Friday night, 27 July, over 130 performers took to the stage in the biannual “Trinity Rocks” extravaganza. The two-hour performance showcased the incredible talents of our contemporary program including Rock Bands 1 & 2, College Choir, Musique Cantabile, Senior Vocal Group, Jazz Ensemble, College Strings and Big Band.

With an audience of over 300, the packed house was entertained to the maximum with a vast array of rock, jazz and pop tunes which they clapped, sang and danced along to! The second act saw the Gold Coast’s premier corporate band, “White Noise” take to the stage to wrap up the night with an outstanding performance, giving our student performers the opportunity to let their hair down and boogie the rest of the night away on the dance floor.

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and clearly demonstrated the exceptional talents of the Performing Arts students as well as our wonderful college spirit and sense of community. Thanks to the amazing work done by our Performing Arts Parent Support Group who were integral in the planning and delivery of the event on the night. Special thanks must also go to Mr Breen, Mrs Reddrop, Mr Petty, Mr Davidson, Mrs Humm, Mrs Breen and Ms Smith for directing all the ensembles and preparing them so masterfully for the show.
