It was all smiles at the Years 2 and 3 Inter–House Swimming Carnival last Thursday. Participation, house spirit and competition were all on full display and students competed proudly for their house. Every single swimmer gave their very best, contributing points to their house no matter what their placing and we are so proud of all our boys and girls for taking part, regardless of their swimming ability. This event is a great opportunity for students and their families to embrace being part of Trinity's wonderful college community and it was fantastic to see our grandstand filled with parents and family members cheering on the swimmers and adding to the amazing atmosphere on the day. A huge thank-you to the Year 11 and 12 students who gave up their time to help out at the event, they were all excellent ambassadors for Trinity and great role models for our younger students. Thanks also to our dedicated staff who definitely got into the spirit of things and ensured that the event ran smoothly and was also heaps of fun for our children. Congratulations to Strohmeyer House who claimed first place in the overall points category.
