Being a connected community throughout the ‘learning from home’ period during Term 2 was very important to Trinity and especially the Performing Arts team so it was amazing to see our youngest performing artists (all prep students), our Sparkles Choir, participate in the Connected Project. The Sparkles Choir, with the direction of their wonderful Ensemble Director, Miss Kimberley Wight, learnt their song, “I’ve Got Peace like a River”, online but performed it together once they returned to campus, with all the passion and enthusiasm we could have asked for. The results speak for themselves – but cuteness factor overload!

Our Years 4 / 5 Bel Canto Choir also did a stunning job performing their song, “Pure Imagination”, from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical, under the amazing direction of Mrs Arnya Reddrop. Over Term 2, the choir worked on a variety of vocal techniques to assist them in becoming such fantastic choral singers.

The Performing Arts team would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents who assisted their children to log on and rehearse each week. With your support, our wonderful performing artists have been able to stay connected, work hard and share their fabulous talents and gifts with our Trinity Community!
