Sensational Swimming!

On Tuesday 5 March, a glorious autumn day, our Year 2 and Year 3 students participated in the annual Years 2&3 Inter-House Swimming Carnival. It was a fantastic, fun-filled morning of swimming. House spirit was high, colours were bright, parent support and enthusiasm were amazing and teams of determined little swimmers did their very best in all their races, battling it out for first place; all evidence of the exciting event created for our students and their families. Throughout the carnival the scores between the three Houses were incredibly close and the students waited with baited breath whilst Mr Howells announced the final results at the end of the carnival. Stephan emerged triumphant, with Strohmeyer taking second place and Mackenzie a close third. Congratulations to all three Houses for such a fine competition!

Thank you to the Trinity Aquatic Club for organising the sausage sizzle and providing the delicious aromas which had mouths watering and tummies rumbling with anticipation.

Thank you to all the staff who worked tirelessly in the lead up and throughout the morning to ensure the event ran smoothly, which it most certainly did. Thank you to all our student helpers who came over from our Ashmore Rd campus to assist our swimmers and a very special thank you to Mr Howells for organising the Carnival, with the assistance of Mrs Gescke, Ms Davis and Mr Davis.
