Romeo and Juliet at Trinity

The Romeo & Juliet cast have been rehearsing tirelessly for the last 5 months to bring to life a Shakespearean love story as old as time, ROMEO & JULIET; a dynamic and contemporary re-imagining of history’s star-crossed lovers, set in the round. The students have worked together beautifully with their varying degrees of experience, sharing, mentoring and supporting each other. They have been delightful, warm and grateful at every step of the process and even on difficult days have a passion for Drama. It is a challenging, memory-making experience and we know they will always remember their work on this show. They will forever be part of Romeo and Juliet.

Whilst this is a Shakespearean Tragedy, it is appropriate for younger audience members. It has been edited and some passages have been translated into 'modern' English, so everyone should be able to access the story.

There are 2 casts. We do this to be inclusive and provide opportunity for the very talented and keen Drama students. Some students do all 4 shows.
