Performing Arts launches the 2019 program with a great big BANG!

Back-To-School at Trinity could not have been better! Reconnecting with friends, swopping holiday stories with teachers and setting goals for a successful year ahead. The icing on the cake on our Ashmore Road campus was the launch of our 2019 Performing Arts Co-Curricular Program, announcing all the incredible opportunities available to students from Prep to Year 12 across the artistic disciplines of Instrumental, Choral, Dance and Drama. Trinity proudly offers a fully inclusive program, where every child has the opportunity to participate in the wonderful world of performing arts no matter their area of interest or experience. To celebrate ‘sign on day’, our incredible and inimitable Director of Arts, Ms Cherie Smith, shared an entertaining presentation followed by Trinity’s rendition of the classic ‘Grease Megamix’. Mr Petty, Mrs Moore-Carter and our male teachers performed a sensational interpretation of ‘Grease Lightning’, whilst Mrs Dobson and our female staff rocked the stage as Sandy and the Pink ladies in Summer Nights. The Trinity Centre was buzzing with energy and excitement and sign-on-day enrolments hit a record high. We cannot wait to see the hard work of all our students come to fruition in our arena spectacular Hollywood highlights show “One Night Only” at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on 8 August.
