Blessed with sunshine, the 2018 Year 2 / 3 Inter–House Swimming Carnival had it all – smiles, place and merit ribbons, fantastic house support, outstanding parent attendance, excellent participation and, of course, lots of swimming! Competition was fierce and our future swimming superstars traversed the 25m journey with absolute passion and resolute determination. Every single student got to participate and students swam in a variety of races, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and the optional butterfly. The carnival concluded with the mixed relays, with all students given one last opportunity to cheer for their house. At the end of the day, Mackenzie emerged victorious on the back committed efforts from all house members. A special thank you the Trinity Aquatic Club who hosted the carnival canteen, the Trinity Facilities Staff who set up the wonderful structure for the carnival and last but definitely not least, our Senior Years students who so enthusiastically and warmly supported and encouraged our younger boys and girls - you were all wonderful role models on the day. It was great to see so many Trinity students showcase their swimming proficiency on the back of the Trinity learn-to-swim lessons and involvement in the Trinity Physical Education program. The future of swimming at Trinity is certainly very bright!!!
