We ended Term 3 on a wonderfully happy note celebrating our grandparents and special friends.
Grandparents’ Day is a valued and loved institution at Trinity Lutheran College Cotlew St campus, and a day we look forward to annually. This year we celebrated our 26th Grandparents’ Day at Cotlew St campus. Some familiar grandparents and some lovely new grandparents came to join in their grandchildren’s classes and visit our beautiful campus. This year we started with a concert combining the talents of our Middle and Senior Years with the Junior Years students. From the very cute Prep and Year 1 students singing and dancing to the very talented performers of our Senior Years. “One of the best concerts yet!” a grandparent very proudly said at the conclusion of the concert.
Following the concert, the grandparents visited the classrooms and enjoyed time with the younger students seeing all the wonderful learning experiences our very lucky generation get to do today. They spent time making cards together, hearing stories, reading their writing, visiting special classrooms and even buying some of the beautiful art work on display by the children.
The grandparents then enjoyed a beautiful morning tea. Thank you to Sandra in our tuckshop, and her group of volunteers who put together a scrumptious morning tea enjoyed by all.
We thank the P&F auxiliary once again for their generous support of this annual celebration of the Trinity families and community on both the Cotlew St and Ashmore Rd campuses
