We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Campus Student Receptionist to join our college, based on our Middle and Senior Years Campus, this multifaceted role is the first point of contact for students with each day being different. The Campus Student Receptionist will have strong people, organisational and communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team, whilst being adaptable to a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a personable, welcoming, and vibrant person who can impart Trinity Lutheran’s culture and enthusiasm with each and every interaction.

 

A little About you: Along with your positive and energetic attitude, you will be naturally confident in communicating with stakeholders & staff at all levels. As our successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following key skills and characteristics:

  • Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and out of the box thinking.  
  • Have a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude with an exceptional communication style.
  • Have a team-focused approach and brings a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated personal and interpersonal skills that enhance positive relationships with all members of the community especially students, parents and staff.
  • Hold a current Working with Children (Blue card) and First Aid qualification or the ability to obtain.

 

About the Student Reception role:

  • This is a Full-time role working 76hours per fortnight, the role is Term-time only which means you will enjoy the school holidays off!
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the student reception office and work as part of a team.
  • Operate the student reception phones, forwarding enquiries to the relevant staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide efficient administration services as required. Be the first point of contact to students, staff, parents and other visitors to the school as they present to student reception.
  • Support the College Nurse in the management of student wellbeing First Aid ensuring students are assisted with any injuries/incidents or medication requirements.
  • Maintain student records and student property
  • Provide administration support to College leaders and senior administration staff
